br/12/18/12 - Dover, DE -WIL YHP-br/Rev. John Moore, a Dover youth pastor and United Way of Delaware, will be speak about YHP at a Dover Town Hall meeting for youth. Moore will speak on YHP and hopes the youth there pass on the message to other youths. Young Health Program, or YHP, is a five-year initiative launched by Astra-Zeneca and United Way of Delaware earlier this year, and just now rolling out, aiming to help Delaware’s most vulnerable youth develop the skills they need to grow up healthy and successful. Their plan, a “movement,” is centered around 40 qualities and characteristics shown to be most telling of a young person’s chances at achieving positive outcomes, including success at school and avoiding drugs, alcohol and risky sexual behavior.br/JASON MINTO/Special to The News Journal
